Free Event at the Library!

Rick and Brenda Beerhorst, well known Grand Rapids artists and ArtPrize winners, will talk about their art, music and family life. We will get a chance to view some of their works and observe demonstrations of woodblock printing and rug hooking. Perhaps there will be an opportunity to purchase some of their original artworks too! If the weather is nice, we are hoping that they will bring their "Art Wagon" along to the library! Don't miss this free family program sponsored by the Friends of the Library of East Grand Rapids.

Wonderful Concert!

The Wealthy Orphans gave a fantastic concert this afternoon at the library. The fireplace provided the warmth from the new snow as the band kept a captive audience. What talent!
